The newly founded Amhara Bank announced in a press release that it will begin operations on June 18, 2022.
Melaku Fenta, Chairman of the Board of Amhara Bank, stated that the bank will begin operations on June 18, 2022, across 70 branches, with plans to expand to 100 branches by July 2022.
The bank began operations with more than 6 billion birr in capital and has already invested more than 4 billion birr.
