Description: BACKGROUND

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Requirements gathering with key stakeholders
• Conduct quick market assessment to meet business needs
• Preparing costs and benefits analysis on systems
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
• Brainstorming new ways to add more functionality to systems
• Facilitating external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house
• Organize the internal team based on the agreed workplan
• Leading on initiating and forming external partnerships
• Provide documentation of all processes
QUALIFICATION:
The ideal candidate is expected to have:
• Background in accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Basic understanding on Data Flow Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams
• Project management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills in response to opportunities and challenges
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic
• Organizational and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business environment and needs
• Strong job ownership
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
• System thinking is a PLUS
