We are looking a senior logistics and documentation officer in our main office Addis Ababa, which is responsible for logistics and other related tasks, for example

• Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of local and foreign government laws and Regulations.
• Expedites the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations including customs documentation and transportation.
• Completion of paper work and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner.
• Negotiate with clients or handle issues with customs office or other governmental or Nongovernmental office.
• Plan and coordinate business transactions involving importing from or exporting goods to foreign countries.
• Coordinate with Operations colleagues to ensure rationalization & quantification supply chain practices are being followed.
• Supporting and reporting to the appropriate management and logistics personnel in the execution of specific project tasks and logistics planning activities, when it is required.
• Managing and controlling the Import/Export procedure were followed.
• To Manage and Support export and import duties for our organization.
• To finalize prices for transport.
• To be link between forwarders and our vendors.
• To update our database.
Job Requirements
• BA/BSC Degree in management, procurement and logistics or other similar fields with 5 up to 8 years of experience in directly related to Import/Export and detail knowledge of the procedure.
• computer literate ,understanding of MS Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact professionally with colleagues, management, and external parties.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English including business terminology required.
• Able to plan, prioritize, and manage activities and office workflow even when working under tight deadlines.
