Description: Qualification & Skill
A qualified Candidate Should be one that has:
• 1-2 year work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role is more preferable.
•BA Degree in Logistics, Procurement, Supply chain, Marketing management, Business administration, Purchasing & Supply, Any Engineering related field
•Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
• Understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Negotiation skills.
• Good Communication Skills
• Excellent problem –solving skills.
Responsibilities
• Searching for potential vendors.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.
