Description: POSITION: Pharmacist
ABOUT THE ROLE: Our company is looking for a pharmacist, seeks to collect and integrate information about the patient’s drug history, clarify the patient’s understanding of the intended dosage regimen and method of administration, and advises the patient of drug-related precautions, and monitors as well evaluates the therapeutic response ,druggist who stores and sells drugs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews, compounds, prepares and/or oversees the compounding, preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals to patients or medical practitioners; makes decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals.
Consults with patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications/contraindications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects; provide other drug and pharmaceutical information as appropriate.
Oversees the acquisition and disbursement of drugs and medications to various offices, clinics, and other sites.
Provides education, guidance and training to students, pharmacy interns, and or trainees during the course of work and monitors performance.
Establishes and maintains methods and manner of storage and recordkeeping systems to provide for the safe keeping of pharmaceuticals.
May take patient’s histories as required; make initial clinical assessments and refer patients to appropriate clinicians.
Performs routine quality control testing of equipment, environment and record keeping as required by federal, state and local regulations.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Diploma; Fresh graduate 2013 -2014 EC
