Ethiopia, Kenya agree to Jointly Combat Terrorism, Organized Crimes

Ethiopia and Kenya on Monday signed an agreement to work together to prevent terrorism, organized crime and transnational security threats.

Director General of National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) of Ethiopia, Temesgen Tiruneh, and the Director General of Kenya’s National Intelligence Service, Maj Gen Philip Kamuru signed the accord in Addis Ababa.

As per deal, the two security institutions will jointly combat local and regional threats.

These threats include terrorism, illegal arms trafficking, illegal financial transfer, illegal militants, illegal human trafficking, and transnational organized crimes.
