The Airlines has announced that it will start regular flights to Mekele starting from December 28/2022.
According to the airline, flights from Addis Ababa to Mekelle have been suspended for the past two years due to the war in northern Ethiopia.
It is said that the air transport from Addis Ababa to Mekele, which was suspended after the two parties signed an agreement, will start tomorrow.
The federal government is resuming services that were suspended in accordance with this agreement.
Yesterday, a delegation of the federal government headed by Speaker Tagesse Chafo went to Mekele and discussed with various bodies and public agents in Tigray.
