Ethiopian Airlines flew an all-female flight to Tanzania’s
International Women’s Day was celebrated at the airline in the presence of the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, Mesfen Tasew, and the chairman of the board of the airline, Mr. Girma Wake.
The airline’s flight to the Tanzanian port city of Zanzibar is staffed by all women, from the chief pilot to the co-pilot, flight attendants and technicians.
In addition, air traffic, flight safety and cargo control, flight control till the departure of the aircraft are completely managed by women.
This is proof that women have unlimited potential to build society, said the CEO of the airline.
In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Ethiopian Airlines conducts flights piloted by women every year for the 7th time.
