Ethiopian physician won a lifetime awards

Ethiopian Medical Association presented a lifetime award to two doctors.

The association held its 59th annual general assembly in Addis Ababa.

At the conference, the association presented a lifetime award to two doctors who have provided the best service to the community in the medical profession.

Dr. Yergu Gebrehiwot was given a male lifetime award and Dr. Tequam Debebe was given a female lifetime award.

The awardees have provided relatively better medical services in their medical profession.

In addition to the Lifetime Award, the Ethiopian Medical Association also awarded Dr. Tehitina Negusie as the Female Young Influential Physician and Dr. Feleke Agwar as the Male Young Influential Physician.

New Life Rehabilitation Center was also awarded as the best health institution of the year.

The award was presented by the Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadese, and the President of the Ethiopian Medical Association, Dr. Tegbar Yigzaw
