Covid-19 kills more than 7500 people in Ethiopia

The Ministry of Health has announced that more than 7,500 people have died of Covid-19 in Ethiopia in the last three years.

The Ministry added that more than half a million people have been infected and 7,554 people have died by Covid-19 epidemic in Ethiopia.

Dr. Alemayheu Ayele, a vaccination expert at the Ministry of Health, said that Covid-19 vaccine was given in three rounds.

He mentioned that more than 44 million Ethiopians have received Covid-19 vaccination and it plays to minimizing the death rate.

Men are more affected by the Covid-19 disease in the world than women, and the reason is not yet known and research is being done, he added.

According to the World Health Organization, more than 685 million people in the world have been infected and 6.8 million people have died.

United States, Brazil, and India are among the countries in the world where many of their citizens have died from Covid-19.
