Ovid Group Celebrates Its Progress on Awar CSR Round 4 Project

Ovid Group, a leading conglomerate in various sectors, including construction and real estate, celebrated the remarkable progress of the Awar CSR Round 4 project with a performance appreciation lunch on June 8th.

The project, commissioned by the Prime Minister’s Office, is being executed by Ovid Construction, a subsidiary of Ovid Group, and underscores the company’s commitment to excellence and community development.

The Awar CSR Round 4 project involves the construction of five blocks, each comprising B+G+11 floors.

These blocks will include 22 units with one and two bedrooms, 11 units with three bedrooms, 51 ground-floor shops, and a basement featuring communal services such as a laundry, traditional kitchen, and storage.

Each block will cover an area of 364 square meters and will be enhanced with landscape and greenery work.

Held at the Abuare CSR project site, the lunch event gathered approximately 700 site and head office employees.

This celebration marked the significant achievement of completing approximately 70% of the project within just two months.

The appreciation lunch served as a motivational boost, encouraging the team to maintain their momentum and ensure the project’s timely completion by the submission date of August 10.

Engineer Asmare Walle, CEO of Ovid Construction, added, “The progress we have made in just two months is a testament to the skill and determination of our team.
