About the USAID Response Leadership Activity Fellowship Program

The USAID Response Leadership Activity Fellowship Program is a two-year program that aims to enhance the next generation of disaster risk management (DRM) professionals in Ethiopia.

Over 300 fellows from our first two cohorts were placed in hosting government organizations at various levels.

We’re excited to welcome 150 new fellows graduated from partner universities within the past three years, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, religion, geographic location, socioeconomic status, disability, or gender identity.

During the two-year fellowship program, fellows will have the opportunity to build their capacity through on-the-job training, professional development, disaster risk management leadership opportunities, and networking. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend to cover their expenses.
