1. Regional WFP Project Coordinator

• Location: Tigray
• Qualifications:
  • Required Professional Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in food aid programs, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in commodities and logistics operations, such as food distribution, warehousing, reporting, tracking, and monitoring.
  • Education:
    • MA/MSc or BA/BSc Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Economics, Disaster Management, Rural Development, or related fields.
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Emergency Food Resource Management.
    • Proven ability to lead teams in similar scopes of work.
    • Experience in food assistance programming, grants/project management, market assessment, cash transfer programming, and performance management.
    • Familiarity with Humanitarian Accountability standards, WFP/USAID funded projects, Red Cross Code of Conduct, SPHERE Standards, and HAP.
    • INGO experience and a good understanding of the local context.
    • Ability to work in high-tension and high-security risk situations.

3. Finance Manager

• Location: Hirna
• Qualifications:
  • Required Professional Experience:
    • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related fields with 5 years of experience, including 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 7 years of experience, including 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Education:
    • Master’s degree or BA plus ACCA or CPA preferred.
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Deep knowledge of IFRS and local regulations, with certification in IFRS adoption and implementation as a plus.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail under time pressure.
    • Proven leadership, networking, and negotiation abilities.
    • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and identify risks and issues for timely resolution.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and advanced financial analysis tools.
    • Willingness to travel domestically up to 35% of the time.
