1. Finance Coordinator (Consortium Project Finance Lead)

Job Overview:

IRC is looking for a Finance Coordinator to oversee financial operations for a rapid response project involving 13 consortium members and partners. The role includes ensuring robust financial controls, compliance with internal and donor requirements, and government regulations. Qualifications:

3. Job Title: Senior Project Coordinator (Project Lead)

Job Overview:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator (SPC)/Project Lead for a large-scale, multi-million Euro rapid response mechanism (RRM 2.0) project. The SPC will be responsible for the overall management of the consortium project, including coordinating with the donor, leading project partners, managing the project team, and overseeing implementation, financial and operational activities. The SPC will also monitor and evaluate project outcomes and ensure timely and quality program delivery by addressing any operational challenges. Furthermore, the SPC will be the primary contact for stakeholders such as government authorities, WHO, UNICEF, IOM, and others, coordinating efforts across thematic sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the overall management of the RRM 2.0 project, including financial, operational, and administrative oversight.
  • Serve as the focal point for donor communication and project coordination with consortium partners.
  • Supervise the project team and oversee project implementation across diverse sectors.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring compliance with set objectives, timelines, and budgets.

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Strong project management experience, preferably in a humanitarian environment with field operations experience in emergency programs.
    • Experience in managing multi-sector, multi-stakeholder, and multi-million Euro projects in conflict settings.
    • Familiarity with Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) implementation and coordination is a plus.
    • Proven ability to manage large teams effectively.

4. Job Title: Driver

Location: Erer Woreda

Job Overview:
The IRC is seeking a qualified Driver to manage and operate the organization’s vehicles. The driver will be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness, ensuring proper vehicle functionality, and adhering to IRC’s vehicle management procedures. The role also includes assisting with transportation needs, vehicle maintenance, and other logistical tasks as required.
