Ministry of Industry (MoI) has launched e-service platform on Tuesday.
The new electronic platform has been developed by experts from MoI and Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MiNT), according to a report
Customers can get ten services online in Amharic and English languages.
Registration of active public employees for social security services, issuance of cross border permit for freight truck drivers and assistants, issuance of supporting letter for Coffee dispatch, renewal of new registration and certification for companies, among others are the services provided under the new platform.
The service will be fetched via the website www.eservices.gov.et
Melaku Alebel, Minister of Industry said during the online service launching program at Intercontinental Hotel that, “The new digital system is easy to use, accessible and cost-effective platform”.
State Minister of Innovation and Technology Huria Ali said that efforts have been launched to support other governmental services with ICT.
