African sub-sovereign governments called on to play their full role in facilitating the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The call was made at the second edition of the African Sub-sovereign Governments Network (AfSNET) conference, held on 30 September 2022 in Abuja, Nigeria. Organizer of the continental “Africa for Africans Event” which is slated to take place on October 21 to 23 said Tuesday that the event will create opportunities to stimulate talks on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The event will be held at Friendship Park and Meskel Square.
