First African Climate Summit kicks off in Nairobi, Kenya

A climate conference has begun in Nairobi to discuss the future of the African continent, which has been plagued by drought and barrenness. The conference, which is hosted by Kenya, to be held for three days from today. More than 20 African leaders, ministers, delegates and climate change advocates from many countries will participate in the conference. Countries like Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya have experienced the worst drought in 40 years.
