Twenty-seven nominees for the 10th Bego Sew Awards in nine categories have been announced on Thursday. Bego Sew Awards, founded by Deacon Daniel Kibret, annually recognize people who are role models and made greater contributions to Ethiopia and its citizens. This year’s shortlist has been cut from 30 to 27 after the Social Studies category was dropped. The organizing board of the annual Award made the decision after receiving insufficient submissions for award consideration in the category.
