In the Amhara region; Dejen district police chief and his deputy died in attacks. The district's government communication office announced that the police chief and his deputy were killed and two others were injured in a shootout in Dejen district, East Gojam zone in Amhara region. The office also stated that a search is underway to arrest the suspect who allegedly opened fire that led to the death of the district police commanders.
