The 2024 All Africa Athletics tournament, hosted by Cameroon, has concluded. The 23rd African Athletics Championship took place in Douala, the capital city of Cameroon, and saw the participation of 2,500 athletes from over 27 countries over the past six days. The Ethiopian athletics team, which competed separately in this event, finished in fourth place. Ethiopia secured a total of 10 medals at the championship: 5 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze.
