Ethiopian Airlines has started a weekly cargo flights from Copenhagen, Denmark to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The cargo flight will be done by Boeing 767-300F aircraft, which was recently converted from passenger to cargo service. The Airline told Ethio Negari that each weekly flight will carry up to 45 tons of cargo. This new cargo service will facilitate trade between Europe and the rest of the world. Ethiopian Airlines said it will start passenger flight service to Copenhagen from next May. The start of passenger flights will also create additional capacity for cargo services.
