Ethiopian starts cargo flights from Copenhagen to Addis Ababa

Ethiopian Airlines has started a weekly cargo flights from Copenhagen, Denmark to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The cargo flight will be done by Boeing 767-300F aircraft, which was recently converted from passenger to cargo service. The Airline told Ethio Negari that each weekly flight will carry up to 45 tons of cargo. This new cargo service will facilitate trade between Europe and the rest of the world. Europe’s drought the worst in 500 years – report

The report warns that the dry spell will hit crop yields, spark wildfires, and may last several months more in some of Europe's southern regions. Compared with the average of the previous five years, EU forecasts for harvest are down 16% for grain maize, 15% for soybeans and 12% for sunflowers.
