Japan Supports Jigjiga Medical Training Center’s Expansion Plan

The Japanese government has granted 4.4 million Birr to support an expansion project of a Medical Worker Vocational Training facility in the Somali Regional state. The grant agreement was signed between the Japanese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ito Takako, and Dr. Abdullahi Abdi Mohammud, Executive Director of Human Concern Organization, on Monday. Accordingly, Japan will donate up to USD 86,584 or equivalent to ETB 4,453,910, for “the Project for the Expansion of Jigjiga Medical Worker Vocational Training Center in Somali Region”.
