Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) has been asked to intervene in the matter. The Supreme Council of Ethiopian Islamic Affairs has recently stated that, mosques are being demolished in the Vicinity of Addis Ababa, which was established as "Sheger City". Following the continuation of the mosque demolition, the council wrote a letter to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed asking for an "urgent solution".
