Safaricom is announced the launch of its commercial operations in the Tigray region, marking a significant step in our mission to provide reliable network services across Ethiopia.  This company, which was unable to provide its telecom services due to the war in northern Ethiopia and operates its services since June 11, 2024. Former MTN Uganda CEO Named as new safaricom Ethiopia head Safaricom has appointed Wim Vanhelleputte as CEO of its Ethiopia business from September, an internal memo on Tuesday shows, Reuters reported.
