Ethiopian To Increase Washington, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo Flights

Ethiopian Airlines is set to bolster its South American schedule by adding more flights to São Paulo and Buenos Aires, according to a report.

The report, issued by online aviation news outlet Simple Flying, came days after the airlines announced it would start additional flights to/from Washington, D.C. via Lomé starting from June 1.

Ethiopian airline currently flies to São Paulo and Buenos Aires three times a week from its base at Addis Ababa.

“Demand for tickets on this route shoots up over July due to the winter school holidays in Brazil and Argentina,” reports Simple flying, an online aviation news outlet, on Monday.

As of July 1, the report says the airlines will increase the frequency of its services to Brazil and Argentina over the summer,

The National flag carrier presently operates the flight on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and will now add a Friday service, which stops at São Paulo first before continuing to Buenos Aires.

Ethiopian Airlines flights to São Paulo and Buenos Aires are conducted by its fleet of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.

As international air travel bounces back, the Airlines, also announced this week returning to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia’s Dammam city. The flights will reconnect Bahrain and Dammam to its global network with thrice-weekly flights, the airlines.
