Data from cryptocurrency payment service and database collector TripleA was utilized to establish which African country has the most cryptocurrency holders, specifically looking at patterns of global crypto adoption.
According to a publication based on cryptocurrency payment provider and database collector TripleA data, Nigeria continues to reign as the undisputed queen of cryptocurrencies in Africa, with by far the most cryptocurrency users and holders on the whole continent. Nigeria also ranks fourth in the world in terms of bitcoin users, below Pakistan, India, and the United States. Ethiopia is seventh on the list, with 1,827,706 bitcoin owners.
