Job Description
CropConex is a global, venture-backed company on a mission to power agricultural supply chains that are efficient, profitable, and traceable. In addition to a marketplace matching coffee buyers with suppliers, CropConex offers a suite of digital tools — for inventory, logistics, storage, payments, and more — to facilitate the movement of the product from one end of the supply chain to the other.
We are seeking a passionate and talented UI/UX design to help us transform agriculture through technology. As an early member of the team, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development of our platform by translating our users’ needs into beautiful, simple and actionable designs. You’ll be responsible for the full design process, from gathering invaluable user feedback, to developing and refining the design language that will be essential to the early adoption and growth of our platform. We’re looking for someone who learns quickly, has a get-it-done attitude and is excited about working on a product that has the potential to dramatically improve rural incomes.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the full design process: ideation, prototyping, user-feedback, wireframing, etc.
Design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows.
Test ideas and designs by going out into the field and meeting our users
Identify the needs of our users, and innovate on existing features.
Work closely with engineering to ensure that designs are robust, implementable and scalable
Work with leadership to iterate on new ideas and initiatives
Contribute to the voice and brand of CropConex, communicating our values and vision.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
2+ years experience as a UI, UX designer and/or design-oriented product manager
Proven ability to develop intuitive, beautiful designs that solve a real problem and have been used in production. Preferably on a product that has been used at scale
Strong background in prototyping, user research and human centered design
Have experience applying analytical, data-driven decision making to design projects
Understanding of building a design language, branding and and storytelling through design
Experience with Figma or equivalent design tool
