Tigray region forms interim government after two years bloody war

A transitional government is establishing in the Tigray region, which has been at war for the past two years.

The ruling party called prosperity party did not included in the proposal for the establishment of the Tigray Interim Administration prepared by the TPLF, which waged a two-year war with the federal government.

According to the recommendations prepared by the leaders of the TPLF for the interim administration of Tigray regional state, TPLF will hold the offices of the President, the regional cabinet and several offices.

Among the areas that the TPLF will handle in the new administration are economy, finance, health, agriculture, infrastructure, land and social services.

The same document recommended that the post of Vice President of the Tigray region Interim Administration be given to militant leaders.

On the other hand, the TPLF document states that the positions of responsibility for tourism, transport, industry and water resources will be given to the opposition parties, and it is stated that the areas of justice, democracy and science and technology will be given to scholars.

Although there is no word yet on what kind of response the TPLF has received from the federal government and the ruling party, the TPLF spokesperson Gethetu Reda said a few days ago that the TPLF will not do anything without reaching an agreement with the federal government.
