Ethiopia national team heads to Morocco for African Cup game

Ethiopian national football team is heading to Morocco for the African Cup qualifying match against the Guinean counterpart.

Ethiopia’s national football team will play the qualifying match against Guinea’s national team on March 24 and 27, 2023 in Morocco to participate in the 34th Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Côte d’Ivoire.

The coach of the national team, Wubetu Abate, called 23 players and they have been in training since March 13, 2023.

The national team won 1 to 0 with Kenean Markneh’s goal in the friendly match against their Rwandan counterpart at Adama Science and Technology University yesterday.

Ethiopia’s national football team has been drawn with Egypt, Malawi and Guinea in group four of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ethiopia is leading the division with three points and one rebound in his two games so far.
