In a statement given to Fox News by the US State Department, an American citizen has been confirmed dead in Sudan.
The office, expressed that its in touch with the family of the deceased and expressed its deep sorrow for their loss.
“Due to our respect for the family at this difficult time, we have nothing to add,” the department said, refusing to disclose the details of the deceased.
on the other hand, the American Defense Forces announced that it is monitoring the situation in Sudan through the Africa Command.
US has also announced that it is considering sending more troops to Djibouti to ensure the safety of its citizens in Sudan.
US is preparing to deploy additional forces to Djibouti to carry out the mission to evacuate staff and citizens, US army announced.
