US and many countries are evicting their citizens from Sudan

Various foreign countries, including the United States, have started repatriating their diplomats from Khartoum, Sudan.

US President Joe Biden said that diplomats and their families in Khartoum, Sudan, have left the country today.

The diplomats left Khartoum, Sudan, in a successful operation conducted by the US Army.

President Biden thanked the governments of Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Saudi Arabia for their successful efforts to help diplomats to move out successfully.

The President has confirmed that the United States Embassy in Sudan is currently closed.

At the same time, about 150 diplomats from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Canada, India, Kuwait, Pakistan, and Tunisia and leaders of international institutions entered Saudi Arabia by sea from Sudan.

France, China, Britain, Spain, and other countries have started work to repatriate their diplomats in Khartoum, Sudan.

In Khartoum, Sudan, the war that started nine days ago between the Sudanese National Army and the rapid support of Sudan forces continues today.

Despite a three-day ceasefire across Sudan for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, fighting continues.

Although foreign countries have tried to evacuate their citizens through Khartoum Airport, due to the ongoing war, they are evacuating diplomats via land transport through Metema, Ethiopia.
