Here’s the chance to join the DStv’s MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy Class of 2024 and upgrade your skills as storytellers for Africa.

With a commitment to nurturing talent in Africa’s film and TV industry, MultiChoice is searching for 60 emerging filmmakers to be part of the Class of 2024. Whether you have industry experience or a relevant post-school qualification, this fully-funded 12-month program offers an exciting opportunity to develop your television and film production skills.

Throughout the program, you will receive hands-on training and valuable experience working on M-Net’s top productions. But that’s not all! As part of our academy partnerships, you will also benefit from enhanced training experiences with renowned institutions such as the New York Film Academy (NYFA), the Henley Business School, Dolby, Canon, and more.

Here’s an exciting fact: Four talented Ethiopians have already graduated from this academy, and the NYFA internship prize was claimed by a young Ethiopian in 2022. Moreover, there are currently 4 students enrolled at the academy from Ethiopia as part of the class of 2023. Now, it’s your turn to shine and showcase your skills on an international platform.
