The Israeli embassy in Ethiopia has announced that Israelis and Ethiopians in the country have been victims of Hamas’ large-scale attack on Israel.
Israel’s ambassador to Ethiopia, Allelign Admasu, told Ethio FM that it is not possible to tell the extent of the damage at the moment, but among the victims there will be Israelis and Ethiopians.
Ambassador Allelign announced that more than 700 Israelis died in the attack.
In addition, more than 2,000 citizens have been seriously injured and are on the verge of death.
The embassy informed that the Israeli army is currently burying dead citizens beside fighting the attacks of Hamas.
Ambassador Allelign also stated that the attack launched by Hamas will not go away easily.
Israel also announced that it has deployed 100,000 soldiers to Gaza.
After this war, the defense force of the country will suppress an armed force called Hamas until the end.
The Israeli army is waging a deadly war with Hamas soldiers in the southern part of the country.
The spokesman of the army, Jonathan Conricus, said that we are currently moving 100,000 reserve soldiers from southern Israel to Gaza.
“Now all our work is to end this war with the leadership. After the end of the war, the group called Hamas will accompany us until the end, and after that, it will be a threat to Israel,” he said.
As a result of this war, more than a thousand citizens have been killed on both sides.
In Gaza, more than 123,000 citizens were displaced and 100 Israelis have been taken hostage by Hamas.
US defense Minister Lloyd Austin announced that US is moving its warships and jets closer to the area to show its solidarity with Israel.
The UN Security Council meeting on the issue ended without an agreement.
