The Israeli embassy in Ethiopia has announced that Israelis and Ethiopians in the country have been victims of Hamas' large-scale attack on Israel. Israel's ambassador to Ethiopia, Allelign Admasu, told Ethio FM that it is not possible to tell the extent of the damage at the moment, but among the victims there will be Israelis and Ethiopians. Brigadier General Harl Knafo has been appointed to attend to the affairs of the Israelis in Ethiopia. According to the Jerusalem Post report, the Israeli government has appointed a senior military leader who will monitor the complaints raised by Israelis in Ethiopia and propose solutions. The generals were appointed by Israel's aliyah and Ministry of Integration, and they were given additional responsibility to set up a team to review Israel's current immigration policy regarding Ethiopia. Israel evacuates 200 Jews from Ethiopia Amhara region

Israel has announced that it has evacuated 200 of its citizens from Gondar and Bahir Dar cities in Ethiopia. In a joint statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office, 174 Israelis and Israeli nationals who are eligible to enter the country have been evacuated from Gondar due to the conflict in the region.
