The flowers were transported from Addis Ababa, Kenya’s Nairobi, Colombia’s Bogotá, and Ecuador’s Quito to the U.S. and Europe.
Last February, the national flag carrier operated 86 similar cargo flights from the same countries, transporting more than 110 million stems of flowers to various countries for Valentine’s Day.
