Job Title: Humanitarian Response Manager
Location: Axum
Qualifications:
– Education: BA Degree in Disaster Management, International Development, or related field.
– Experience: Five (5) years in emergency programming, disaster management, rural livelihood programs, food security interventions, WASH, nutrition, and program management.
-Skills:
– Proficiency in verbal and written English.
– Expertise in proposal development, strategic and operational planning, budget planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing.
– Proficiency in standard office software.
– Leadership abilities to inspire and empower others.
– Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with government, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
– Commitment to teamwork, gender equality, and participatory and sustainable development approaches.
– Ability to meet deadlines.
– Knowledgeable in participatory planning.

Job Title: Water Technician
Location: North Gonder, Tselemt
Qualifications:
-Education/Training:
-Required: Diploma in Water Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
-Desired: BSc in Water Engineering.
– Experience:
-Required: 3 years of relevant experience with a diploma or 2 years of relevant experience with a postgraduate degree in water works in rural areas.
-Desired: Work experience in a development-oriented NGO.
-Technical Skills:
– Knowledge of constructing water development schemes in rural areas.
– Experience with small-scale irrigation schemes.
– Good communication skills in English.
– Commitment to teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, participatory approaches, and sustainable development.
