Worldheritages

The Bale Mountains and Gedeo landscape are registered as world heritage by UNESCO. Ethiopia has increased the number of heritage sites registered by UNESCO to 11 and is the only one in Africa. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO is holding its 45th session in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Bale Mountains National Park and Gedeo cultural landscape has been declared as a World Heritage Site.
