Ethiopia to send 50 thousand quintals of wheat to Sudan

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that Ethiopia is ready to send 50 thousand quintals of wheat to Sudan

The prime minister added that, the support provided through “Ethiopian Aid” includes many medicines.

He mentioned that, Ethiopia is interested in mediating the warring parties, apart from providing the support that is currently needed to the people of Sudan.

He called on Sudanese army chief General Al Burhan and Rapid Action Force (RSF) commander General Hamdan Dagalom to give them space to negotiate again.

The Prime Minister made the call while acknowledging the parties who brought the northern war to a negotiated end.

Moreover, the federal government of Ethiopia will negotiate with the Oromia Liberation Army, which is classified as a terrorist law makers.

The talks will be held in Tanzania and Norway and Kenya will be the negotiators.
