Transport and Logistics Minister Dagmawit Moges has assessed the progress of the expansion project of the dry port located in Lome district at Modjo town, during a visit over the weekend. The minister said the construction, which is under implementation at a cost of 4.78 billion birr, is financed by the World Bank. The facility, the largest of the eight operational inland dry ports in Ethiopia, has the capacity to accommodate 17,539 TEU containers at a time.
