Journalists Unite for Peace Journalism Amidst Global Instability

On 17thFebruary, the international peace organization, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), hosted an online event with approximately 160 media persons from 49 countries in attendance. This year, HWPL International Workshop on Peace Journalism marked the publication of its 2nd journal, ‘Peace Journalism Studies’, produced in cooperation with 9 journalists worldwide. With the theme of “Media Perspective on Conflict Resolution,” this event aimed to sharing the ideas of peace journalism, bringing out collective voice of international network of media for peace, and suggesting future action plans to appeal to people in globe to have peace in their minds.…

Thousands of Global Leaders Gathered in South Korea for Peace

More than 1,800 people from 121 countries, including the United States, the Philippines, Ukraine, South Africa, Pakistan, Thailand, Romania, and India, attended the 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit held in Incheon, South Korea. During this event themed "Implementing a Multidimensional Strategies for Institutional Peace”, leaders and experts in the fields of international law, religion, education, youth, women, and media participated in about 30 sessions over four days. The participants engaged in discussions, tailored not only by fields but also by countries, on practical and viable strategies to establish a legally binding international law for peace.…

HWPL Holds Blood Donation Event for Peace in Ethiopia

On July 2nd, a blood donation involving 60 participants took place at Hayahulet Signal in Ethiopia with a national need of increasing the blood donation rate. The event, organized by Heavenly Culture, World Peace Restoration of Light(HWPL), International Peace Youth Group(IPYG), and the National Blood Bank, targeted Ethiopian youth organizations and human rights groups in Addis Ababa. World peace advocators met after covid-19 outbreak

Addis Ababa, EN, 12 Feb, 2023 HWPL held an online New Year's Conference for Peace Education with 37 participants from 6 countries. This New Year's Conference, with attendees from each continent, including Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, was promoted to share the activities of 2022, communicate with each other, and emphasize the need for active movement by peace teachers.
